:21.c@m will be Banned for remainder of season, season 5 and season 6 for hacking in FTWGL. Also adding to c@m's ban were the fact he was account sharing. Also accessing other players accounts. His ban will be reviewed at the end of season 6.
Upon the ban being lifted he will be subject to league probation and be required to submit a demo for every match played.

After discussing it with the other admins, and reviewing the demo myself, we've concluded we were in error in banning c@m.
Let me explain the reason for the ban initially.
We received several uncertain F1's, from people on the review team who thought it was fishy. We waited to get more input from some of the more experienced reviewers. I wouldn't mention names if they hadn't been mentioned already.
Sephy reviewed the demo, and thought there wasn't much there, with the exception of one pretty blatant instance (where c@m shoots the corner of the wall). Sephy considered that enough to F1 because he didn't know that you could hit someone through the wall.
So we banned c@m.
However, after sephy found out c@m had a plausible reason for this (being able to shoot the guy on the other side through the wall). He tested it for himself, and was no longer comfortable supporting the ban.
I reviewed the demo this afternoon several times. I myself had some impressions that influenced my going along with sephy's decision initially:
1) I thought the game was a close one, that c@m was cracking under the pressure.
2) I thought dt played a stronger game then they did.
3) I thought c@m had a strong game that caused him to be put under suspicion.
I was wrong on all 3.
1) The game wasn't close at all, c@m had no motivation, incentive, or NEED to hack.
2) dt played poorly and predictably round after round. Holding pillars with 1 sr8 multiple times, always trying to hold the same areas. They were strongly outplayed and outgunned by 21.
3) c@m played like crap. He missed shots he should have made, left his team in bad situations frequently, costing them several rounds. Half his kills were in failed clutches that shouldn't have been happening in the first place because he was screwing around. He spends most of his time goofing off, attempting silly sr8 shots (which he frequently whiffs), knife kills, and poorly placed nades.
The ban will be reversed, 21 is still in the playoffs. We (the staff) have learned several things from this.
1) Public discussion and debate by people who are either unwilling to watch a demo, or unqualified to do so...will not be tolerated. Threads opened to discuss whether someone hacks will be harshly moderated, and possible forum suspensions will be dealt to those who try to stir up this kind of destructive discussion.
2) Admins will be more thorough about demo review in the future, with a tighter circle being kept during the review period. We'll be transparent about it, but only after we've finished making our decision.
I feel badly about how this was handled, but I'm confident (as are the rest of the admins) that we don't have evidence to convict c@m, and leaving him banned would be wrong.
