[UrT 4.2] Bugs

The following bugs are being investigated, these are known bugs and Frozen Sand is working hard on fixing them:

Known Bugs

• Armbands are not displayed correctly on team mates.
• The time it takes to medic is too slow.
• Server using 100% CPU power.
• Server - Info string length exceeded.
• Wrong G36 model (1st person view).
• Autopickup 0 inconsistent.
• Server Crash - ERROR: Cvar_Update: handle out of range.
• Server Crash - unknown GH problem.
• [Updater] vector:_M_range_check.
• Hit mesh errors, e.g. leg registering as vest.
• Crouch unhits.
• Server Bug - console freezes.
• Team gametypes showing as FFA, however this doesn't happen on our own test servers. We don't use any server bots. The server admins who reported this were probably using a server bot.
• Some reports about stamina but we need more details.
• Laser on AK, it was not supposed to have a laser but it seems people like it and didn't think it was overpowered with the bug in 4.1 so we will implement it properly.
• Five pellets in the SPAS12, the damage marks do not show all of the pellets that are shot. Incidentally that is the same as in previous versions, but the spread in 4.2 is much tighter.
• Dark shadow on Casa.
• Clipping needed on Raiders.

Some of the reported bugs came from players who had installed Urban Terror 4.2 incorrectly, e.g. installing Urban Terror 4.2 in their 4.1.1 folder.
Urban Terror 4.2 is a complete repack and requires a separate folder.

El instalador del 4.2 para Linux no funciona en Ubuntu 10.04. Cuando ejecuto el UrTUpdater.x86 me da el siguiente error:

./UrTUpdater.x86: symbol lookup error: ./UrTUpdater.x86: undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData11detach_growEPii

Parece q el 10.04 no tiene soporte para Qt 4.7 q se uso para compilar el updater de urt 4.2, como dice acá, no?

Por lo que se lee, sí, un bajón. Pero bueno, si no te sentís "incómodo" compilando, podés usar las opciones que dan en el mismo link que pasaste:

• Backportearte la versión 4.7, o bien,
• Enlazar estáticamente las librerías.

Igualmente, supongo que estarás en la 10.04 de Ubuntu porque es LTS(*)... pero ya debe haber una LTS más reciente (creo que salían cada 18 o 24 meses). Capáz que en vez de empezar a "manosear" tu sistema (cosa que va a pasar cada vez más seguido, en cuanto quieras software más nuevo) te convenga considerar actualizarte.

Podés bajarte el UrtUpdater del Linux Server, te baja exactamente lo mismo que el otro pero sin interfaz gráfica.

Voy a ver q onda. Por lo pronto cambié el ubuntu 10.04 por un debian 2.6, así q estoy empezando de cero de nuevo, más q nada pq el server en ubuntu se crasheaba.
Me bajé el 4.2 pero me tira errores en debian también, así q nada, empiezo con el 4.1.1 y si funciona todo bien, veo como sigo.
